A little bit more about me …

Moved up to Ayrshire in 2015  after spending my working life in Cumbria.  Having a career in the press, design and retail marketing industry I ventured into my own business when I moved up to Ayrshire – all of which I love.

The marketing part of me

Strategy and planning, story-telling, content management, branding, event management, design and all things digital and social media – lots to cover in a busy retail shopping centre environment

Fortunate enough to work with some brilliant media agencies.  Very much involved in writing Radio scripts, designing TV storyboards and creating ideas for press and digital advertising.

Responsible for all planning, strategy, budgeting and evaluation

 

The design part of me

Discovering how colour works, design layout,  image manipulation, photoshop,  illustrator and digital design.

Taught the art of combining words with images to create ideas that cover all marketing platforms.  Including press, leaflet and magazine publications transferring across social media and web platforms.  Working in an ever evolving  press industry I also became responsible for creating design concepts with key clients.  Loved playing a major role in the launch of a new lifestyle publication ‘Carlisle Living’.
